Job TitleData Protection Domain LeadJob DescriptionIn this role, you have the opportunity toProvide leadership and strategic direction for enterprise wide security initiatives within the Data Protection Domain on behalf of the Group Security-Information Security Department.You are responsible forFollow and understand key technology trends and advancements in security capabilities that pertain to the Data Protection Domain.Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for improving security within the domain.Assess and supervise the maturity of security capabilities deployed across the enterprise.Work with the Security Architecture team and other Domain Leads to prioritize investments to realize your Domain roadmap using risk based methodologies.Provide line management and lead small teams to coordinate the execution of projects which improve functionality, processes, and/or coverage for capabilities.Provide insight, advice, and recommendations to all levels of management throughout the organization. Such discussion should be able to address security matters such as security activities, current & emerging security risks, and the respective control technologies.Lead or commission the preparation and authorization of the implementation of vital security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.Lead or commission activities to ensure compliance with internal security policies & standards across the company.Lead or commission domain specific security awareness, training and educational activitiesDevelop, maintain, and report on Domain specific critical metrics related to performance and drive continuous improvementYou are a part ofPhilips Group Security team ensures the safety and security of our customers, employees, and partners across the globe. Within Group Security – Information Security (GS-IS), SAE team (Strategy, Architecture & Execution) is responsible for defining, designing, and implementing enterprise-wide information security solutions.The Domain Lead will report directly to the Head of the SAE team.To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience7+ years of previous experience within information securityBachelor’s degree; MBA or other advanced degree would be a plusKnowledge of security methodologies and industry standardsIn-depth knowledge of and extensive experience in the following security capabilities: insider threat protection, data level protection, data classification and handling, and data leakage protection.Very good communication and persuasion skills, ability to cover sophisticated concepts into easy to understand terms for non-security professionals.Experience as a line manager, comfortable working with and leading remote teams.Knowledge of privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR) and understanding of how Information Security needs to align with those requirements.Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and NIST framework.Technical Certifications in Information Security (e.g. CISM, CISSP, etc.) preferred but not required.Knowledge of the legal, industrial, cultural security requirements for a large multinational industrial firm.In return, we offer youA path towards your most exciting career.
